OK.. It's a S4 I just did a fresh rebuild on it.. It has 90 PSI of compression on used rotor housings. with nice even sweeps of compression...

It starts up every time, But it wont idle and it hates anything below 2500 RPMs.. Every time I let off the gas then step on it again it backfires.(a real loud pop) Oh yeah It floods real bad!! and it would not start till I installed A fuel pump cut off switch..

I'm thinking something got removed that needed to be there or something is hooked up wrong...

I yanked off all the emissions and solanoids made block off plates for the EGR, BAC, Air control valve, ect.. ect... I also did the throttle body modification.. and it's running RC injectors..

Do you guys think I might of yanked something off I needed???? Or could it be that the timing is way off..??? Could it be that the throttle position sensor is off???

Thanks for the help guys!!

what size injectors did you put in? and when you rebuilt it, did you take out and forget to put back in the fuel diffusers in the primary plate? whats your fuel pressure? it shouldnt be any higher than 35psi...

also, make sure the injectors you put in are the right impedience. very important...

and if your running a stock ignition system and a stock ECU, then the only way timing could be off is the crank angle sensor. just make sure the marks are lined up and dont move as you put in back it. remove the flat cover and make sure it dosnt move. dont guess it...

The vacuum line got pulled off the fuel pressure control solenoid when I was messing around with the engine. That and if I can move the crank angle sensor all the way to the right, and it runs alot better. But it still back fires a bit. so I think it might be a tooth off...

That and it sounds like it might have a vacuum leak..

The injectors are just a replacement for stock. so I'm pretty sure that they are 440cc

Thanks for the info!!

dont forget to make sure your at TDC. or you'll never get it in right timing.
