Front or rear? Rear are threaded calipers.

they make a lil cube tube that works great on the rears.... i beleive autozone sells it for about $8.00

Any parts store will have the tool that you need. It is a little cube with littles dowels all around it, should run about 20 bucks or so. But I would go buy it before you use the pliers like what it says in the manual.

Be sure they arent threaded. Oh and ummmm.... make sure you remove the cap from the fluid resovoir? You knew that though

GreyGT-C 04-18-2005 09:07 PM

This is the one i have....$7.99 at carquest or autozone... can't remember which.

fc3s4utnv 04-18-2005 09:51 PM

IT would have to be Carquest bc I got mine at autozone and it was 19.99.

thanks a lot guys i would have never guessed that it was threaded. but does it thread out ever time you press on the brakes? sceams kinda weird

one thing that makes it easier is to take the cover off the master cylinder and take out some of the fluid, dont know if you did that yet or not.
