its got the headlight squirters ---- problem is ... how in the hell do they go on? ive had the car for about 6 months and cant figure it out ever --- i have NO CLUE



i was thinkin of wiring it up so it would spray the IC but i dont know how to work it



any suggestions to work the squirters and to spray the IC?

mmm headlight squirters, this thread is a little too technical for me. do what i do when i get confused... start mashing buttons knobs and levers. the faster and more chaotic u go the more chance u have of making them work, or braking something

yes..but theres no ******* button for it...ive tried everything

I've got a 10AE, I've been wondering the same...

My third gen has a button in the centre console for them. Maybe you can find them on the wiring diagram??



I'm rigging mine up to use as intercooler spray too. Just need to find suitable misters and make ducting to mount them.

theres no button and nothing on a diagram...i have teh US FSM

it's the same button as the headlight pop ups.



There is a knob which you turn that allows your pops to stay up when you turn off the lights.



But pushing in on that knob it will activate the headlight squirters.

Unless someone changed the headlight switch on you.



Freesytle, is your car a red 1990 TII from ONtario canada? did yohave an MR2 before this?

looks like you will need to get another head light siwtch which has the pop up knob that can press in.

rofl, u know there r three nobs right?



one for the headlights

and in the middle of the headlights knob u can rotate to adjust ur brightness on ur tach and stuff and so forth.



then above the headlights knob is a second knob that just rises and lowers the head lights



if u push in the part that comes out of the knob it starts spraying. It's pretty useless but it's fun to press once ina while.

just for the record, freestyle was converted to the rotary side after driving in my car. i belive the quote was "i wanna rev this fast, thats it im getting an rx7"



i thought he was kidding when he said he got rid of the mr2 and got the 7... but now hes a full on rotor head

i sat in it the other day... it's quick.

instead of buying an all new switch you could probably wire it to a seperate button as the wiring SHOULD be there.



frestyle's t2 is weird, like when we were bleeding the abs....i looked at a diagram and said "well the abs should be right where that giant empty space is"

heh..it was quick....i dont know though...even when i had the boost controller in there at 15 psi i think my tII is faster

between the headlight switch and defrost is the headlight rise one. as posted above you push it in. if you have headlight sprayers but don't have one that pushes. then I guess somebody changed your dash cluster.
