Just a little information and maybe a heads up for some.....



I put in some new headlights in my car. These were the brighter bulbs, not the true HID conversion kit but the brighter H4 bulbs.



Everything was fine for a while then I started to have problems with the lights dimming. I mean really dimming. Instead of bright white they turned yellow. And this would be with a brand new bulb right out of the package. It happened on one light then the other.



Well I looked at the connectors and they were burning through. The plastic was melting around the connector. Turns out the ground wires for the headlights were bad and could not support the H4 bulbs and the connectors were slowly melting. I had the connectors rewired with new ones and new grounds and everything is fine.



So a heads up....check your grounds before doing any aftermarket changes. make sure you have good grounds.

ever since the day i purchased my car, the headlights have always been really dim. I mean i actually drive 3/4 of the time with my high beams on. its actually that bad. Any info on why this is or are all the 90' rx7's just have really dim headlights.
