Are headers a good idead for n/a rx-7s? I heard they are only good for carbed rx-7s. And its kinda weird that only RB offers one. I have heard that for EFI rx-7s midpipes( bolt-up to exhaust manifold,to Y-pipe) are recommend. What is best?

I have a Racing Beat header ( www.racingbeat.com ) and it is great. If you are looking for more power you'll have to get rid of your cat. converters too. That is what robs your engine of the most power. But by doing that your car will be a lot louder. So if noise is an issue Racing Beat does make a header / high flow cat. combo. I have the Racing Beat Dual exhaust set up, and I noticed a major change in power over the stock exhaust. I love it. Its just a little loud.https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

I suggest the Bonez Race Pipe found in www.rx7.com

I went to the Racing beat site, and it said that on an N/A 13B, getting a DP and Cat Replacement combo will give comparable gains to that of a header.

Headers are 2" Outer Diam. and that racepipe is 2.5. which is why the gains are similar, the racepipe will bolt on to yourStock manifold, and go al the way back to the y pipe. Its only $150 last I checked.
