Other than the obvious $80, what is the difference between Racing Beat hardened stationary gears and the 'stock' hardened gears on MazdaTrix? Im looking at the 13B -92 front gears Here.

I'm look at some FD gears when my Turbo II motor pops apex. The best stocker gears you can buy for a decent price.
|
And absolutely identical to the RB type II gears (which is why RB doesn;t offer any gears for the FD).
The Type I gears are hardened stock gears with the stock (or deeper window) bearing. I dunno what those mazdatrix hardened gears are... I'll look into it. Hey racer X... what is your name? Just curious if we have met in person or talked before... |
The Racing Beat stationaries are actually superior to stock FD. The reason they dont make stationaries for FD is because the FC ones only need minor modification to fit.
(quote from Racing Beat) Additionally, we offer for a nominal charge the machining process that allows the Type I front stationary gear to accommodate the larger thrust washer and related components found on the 1992 and later engines. |
