some pictures here:

I took more pictures that showed the entire car and the front end laying on the floor a few feet in front of it, but they came out blurry. I'll take new ones when I get home. This car was in a wreck, twisted frame, mostly front end damage. Frame damage combined with the rust and overall nasty condition of the body justified the junking of the chassis for me, I need room for a tent in the garage to media blast some parts in.... so cutting off the front seemed like a good way to free up space https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

Also exploring how easy it is to dispose of a car using the complex dumpster by cutting it up into small pieces instead of calling the autowreckers and paying them $100 to take the frame & title away.

Will post more cross section pictures later, the unibody is surprisingly easy to bend and cut, reminds me of how much these cars suck... I'm more commited now than ever to making a locost 7 (space frame tube chassis) w/rotary next. Oh, and I'll be weighing the front part of the unibody as soon as the subframe is removed and other junk (oil cooler, AC parts etc...) It's surprisingly heavy but the subframe, struts, and rotors are still on it so thats surely a large part of the weight.

I have torches, I used a sawsall. I was thinking about using the torch but uh, the sawsall cuts this **** like butter, is less risky and cuts through those box sections in one shot, I'd have to cut one side at a time with the oxy-acetylene cutting torch.

I bought a 12" blade for the sawsall that is labeled as 'the torch', it's comical how fast it cuts through the car.

don't park your car next to peng's house for long.... you car will be stripped in minutes and the parts will be on ebay the next day! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png
