Well, during my GT-X project, I discovered that the 88 NA dash harness connector won't fit in the new '91 ECU, SOOOO....I had to get an 89+ dash harness..guess what...the connectors on the back of just about EVERYTHING in the cockpit is different! So now I'm forced to mix and match the harnesses! I'm still shooting for next week though..I'm just gonna have to pull in an extra few hours at the garage and books!

I didn't know you were using the 91 ECU. I could have told you the bad news before you started. :sigh:

Um, HALTECH?

That's one of the reasons I went with one.

That would be easiest, but I think he's trying to save some mone right now. I want a standalone in all of my cars now that I've finally joined the club. I still have that spare TEC II, but nothing to do with it right now.:(

Yea, saving money is just what I want to do! I need to have some extra $$$ for the FMIC and larger fuel injectors I wanna get...

Sounds like a a good plan. If you're going to use the stock ECU and turbo you can probably get away with just running 720 cc secondaries.

Rotaryman88 12-18-2001 09:56 PM

Yea, I'm gonna do the 720cc and an APEX S-AFC...that plus the FMIC I'm hoping will get me over 300HP on the stock turbo...but it'll be pushing it...I plan to upgrade to a T-76 or 78 later...but I can't just throw one on with out being able to have proper fuel, air, etc...

Hey man, when u gonna get around to your site? I'm dyin to see it :sigh:

I'm working on it, but I'm one of those lazy types, right now I'm trying to organize pics and thinking of a better design...what would you want to see first...should I work on the 13BT transplant part, or the conversion, or links, etc...what should be done next?

That should be enough for the stock turbo. A T-76 will probably be way too big for you. The Turbonetics T-76 is alot bigger than a Greddy T-78. The T-78 is what I have. It's a great turbo, but I wouldn't throw it onto a bone stock motor.
