I thought the piping was supposed to fit with the power steering pump in place. Is this true or do I need to take out my power steering? Man this is so frustrating I should be done by now.

I have the new style. Directions are in japanese so I don't know what it's trying to tell me to do with the power steering pump lines that are blocking the pipe.

J9fd3s I see what you did with the upper lines but what is to be done with the 2 small ones that are on the side of the pump? Do you have to bend those too?
Grasshopper you must be one with the instuctions. Sorry Miagi san but the ******* instructions are in Japanese and I'm a stupid white boy!!! |

See that's what I don't get. This setup is supposed to meant for the 89-91 models and mine is a 90. I shouldn't be having these problems. I shouldn't heave to be cutting the pipe IMO.

If you have a s5 it shouldnt' be a problem. If you have an s4 with the old style power steering pump then that's a problem. I had to up upgrade to the smaller pump that the 88s came with. You may have to bang up the pipe a little https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Well after making a few phone calls yesterday I ended up talking to Chris Ott at RP about how they insatlled thier kit. He said that they cut thier pipe and rotated it. He also said that it was still a tight fit and that it would be better to just remove the power steering. Well I guess I going to remove my power steering. For all that think like I did when I bought this kit be warned that it will take some modification to keep your power steering. Thanks for the help guys.

Take the power steering out and get your car out of the garage so I can do my brakes Matt. Just kidding, and not to mention you just might like the felling you get without the power steering, you know better feedback and all.
