Cool.... Yeah put that ecu in the stock location....
|
Real nice clean car man. Real nice.
|
Looks great man, but you gotta move that ECU when your done on the dyno https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
As far as what numbers you'll get...what boost will you be shooting at? I noticed the stock TMIC, so I'm assuming your not gonna go to much over 10psi. I'd say @ 9PSI...probably 240RWHP @10PSI...probably 252RWHP That microtech should put up some good tunable numbers...a guy that takes night classes at my campus has a similar red '91 T2 like that...SP, 3mm seals,etc..and at 9PSI he hit 220RWHP...but he still had a cat and stock ECU...but he had an FMIC(which wasnt THAT helpful on his dyno run due to lack of airflow). If we had a fan on the FMIC or something..he probably could have bumped his numbers up a little more. That stock ECU was holding him back too. Good luck and let us know the results. |
I was hoping to put a little more down than that with my turbo :(
· 800-900 CFM compressor wheel · 15 degree clipped turbine wheel · T04B compressor housing and back plate · Dynamic thrust collar · Ported turbine housing entrance (if not using the switching actuator in the exhaust manifold) 360 degree thrust bearing aren't guys putting that down with stock turbo's? |
i am trying to decide on microtec or motec which one? i dunno much about the turbo cars yet i still have my na, but not for long i am gettin my TII soon.
TurboSmoke |
microtech = 768 shipped to my door (LT8, hand controller, laptop interface stuff)
motec = bling bling... what they start at like 2k and up? |
damn looks like i am going with mircotec i cant afford 2k for electronics. lol
|
ya have to remember you do get a hell of an engine management for that price. Each EMS has it's strong points and down points. the Microtech just fit my needs and that is why I purchased it. I almost went haltech e6k but found the microtech was going to do what I needed it to do for a good price.
