every once in a while theres a hesitation from anywhere between 4 and 5 grand. i have a 1990 gtu, non turbo, and i heard it is a semi common problem among the turbos, but have no idea what could be causing my problem. any suggestions?

Wrong section buddy.

Check if the 5th and 6th ports are opening, should open at around 3800 RPM.
Why is this the wrong section to ask this question? |
There seems to be a common hesitation problem, that usually occurs around 3800 rpm, as mentioned above. People have suggested the auxiliary ports, a grounding issue, and I've even heard of it maybe relating to exhaust. Grounding seems to be the popular choice.
