I like how it turned out. It fits way better than the greddy unit and as you can see I did not sacrifice hardly any size.
I also like the fact that with my I/C air enters at the bottom and exits the top. I feel that will promote the entire intercooler to function. Also where I place it promotes airflow over the entire unit. I will have pics of it in the car in a couple of days. |
:bigok: Awesome!!

Nice IC and engine. :yum:

Hey Banzai since you hijacked my thread I'll comment on the install. Its the perfect example why I didn't use the Greddy.
Look at the pipng its blocking your brake ducts now and theres miles of piping!!! Tha install is the exact rason why I had a custom one made. Also when you get your bumper back on the bumper skin will block the top 2/3 of the i/c from getting airflow. Here is my engine https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |
ohhhhhhhh chrome on black....sexy :bigthumg:
|
No offense, but those endtanks make me want to puke.
But great that you have the piping route planned better than they could, and have a great fitting IC |

I have been reconfiguring the piping that was supplied with the kit so it mates up with the 13B-RE. Fun Fun. I do prefer the greddy end-tanks over Jims's End tanks. As far as the stock brake ducts, I don't forsee them functioning very well
|
brake ducts work at about 120mph plus. If you are going drag racing the brake ducts are of no use to you
road course racing is different story..you need them |
looks good
