Exhaust looks good. What kind of muffler is that?

Is your O2 Sensor really plugged into only the rear rotor? What kind of header is it? My Racing Beat has the O2 sensor further under the car.

The real question is, How loud is it?

The mufflers are a generic "race" muffler from the local ricer shop. I paid $300 for the pair. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif

The header is the RB road race header, with a bung for the O2, and a "split air pipe" for the 5th and 6th ports. Yes the O2 is only plugged into the rear rotor. The exhaust is uncollected dual exhaust, so they have to pick one or the other. <_<

It isn't too loud now, I made 2 plugs to shove into the muffler tips. That helps the noise, but killed the power. Before I put in the plugs, It was WAY ******' loud. I got ticketed twice for it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif i can't wait to hear it unplugged on Isamu's ported engine. But I bet it will be one fast mofo. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Isamu, while the car is all pulled apart, you should strip as much unnecessary weight out of it. Get that bitch as light as possible. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Yea I agree. I already tossed the AC, but I kinda like the power steering. I was thinking about replacing my clutch since it is all apart, but we'll see what money dictates. The stock one looks ok. What else do you think I should ditch to drop the weight? I had my eye on an aluminum hood, but I haven't talked to the guy in a while. I know, I really want your exhaust, but can't give up my stock stuff until I smog it. Hmmmm...... When? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

I'd keep the PS, unless you can find a manual rack. Can't go wrong with a light weight flywheel either. Pul up all your carpet, remove insulation/padding. You can also remove the sound deadening ****, I've heard that you can either heat it up, or freeze it to get it off. There are other things that can be removed. I can't think right now, I'm off work, my brain has now shut down.

I want to come up there one of these weekends to check the car out.

I removed my P/S and plugged the holes in the rack. It's not too bad once you get used to it. A manual rack isn't much easier.
