Here they are: They are M/T 22x8.0 mounted on Kosei K1 wheels (wheels only weigh 12 lbs). Next is my new clutch/PP to handle the power.

Nice.... did you mount them with tubes or not?

CrazyAssRX7 03-25-2003 12:41 PM

how much did it cost you with those rims?????

I like https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

would go with my others rims if anything

Blink 03-25-2003 07:22 PM

damn i likes . just think of the fun you can have burning them up before you go to the track https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

They cost me $500 with the rims...They are "used" but my friend last year had an open diff so he never warmed them up much. They are like new.

I unfortunately don't get to use them for a little while until I put my ported turbo on, though. Still trying to get that whole issue resolved.

Rotaryman88 03-25-2003 09:11 PM

Um...not to bust on you...but is your driveline built to support slicks???

vosko 03-25-2003 09:23 PM

he doesn't have enough power to break anything with slicks. the stock TII driveline is pretty beefy to 350hp

Cool beans, yeah I was discusing the same topic some time again with mike; he said the same, I don't want to be like you https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Maybe he plans on using the slicks when he's beefs his car up a little more.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

Well I won't really bust the slicks out until i get my new clutch in. I just got them now

so I don't have to deal with buying them/having them mounted later. This way, I got lightly

used slicks for about $250 cheaper than buying them new, etc. I can let them sit here for a

few months and not be bothered...Or i might just bust 'em out for a trial run when the new turbo

goes in. Either way, saves on my road tires (PA Inspection is a **********er-i gotta do it in July)

Who knows?
