Even though I said I wasn't gonna do it, I put it back in with the transmission bolted to the motor..
That wasn't much fun but it's done. You know what wasn't fun? OEM MOTOR MOUNTS. |
shoulda gone with the 50$ solid mounts on ebay. you can always go back and change later though...
glad its back in!! that engine bay was nice looking empty, we need pics of it with a nice shiney rotary plopped in!!! |
Collin you should have asked, there is a trick to the motor mounts, you loosen the tops up to the last few threads so they wiggle in the mounts, they drop right in then, I had freestyles motor dropped in the bay in less than 20 mins...

The bottom side of the mounts are torqued up good but I am having trouble winding the top bolts down.. What should I do? |

Last night I put the oil cooler and oil cooler lines on, installed the alternator, and made a coil mount plate and mounted the coils on the strut tower.. |
