I got my pod and gauges I ordered. I'm dissapointed with rotormotorsports though. I figured the pic of the gauge on their site would be the one I got, but as you can see in the pic the A/F gauge has a black ring, with a white face, and the boost gauge has a silver ring, and a silver face. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png Plus there was some other BS I had to deal with with my order from them. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png

raised-na-rx 07-03-2002 05:21 PM

Well thats a bunch of bs if I order a guage cluster I expect the guages to at least match unless of course they specify otherwise and then I might not get them.

That is the pic of the gauge I THOUGHT I was ordering. IMHO I will order from someone else next time. It is worth spending a few extra dollars to get what you wanted, and to get good customer service.

BTW, Rotormotorsports still have not refunded the $19 shipping charge they charged me. WTF!?!?

phinsup 07-03-2002 05:47 PM

Personally if it were me and it was not the guage I ordered i would send it back.

Rotaryman88 07-03-2002 05:53 PM

I don't think rotormotorsports is getting a good base here as a sponsor, lol...

But yea, I'd expect to get what I ordered...I'd send it back, but then you have to worry about if you'll ever actually it replaced w/ the right one and how long it'll take...w/ the customer service RMS has shown so far, I doubt they'll get your request done in a timely manner...

ILUVMY88CABRIO 07-03-2002 06:04 PM

I'm just going to say **** it, it was my bad from ordering from them in the first place. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif Plus with the customer service I've receved from them already, I figure I'd be lucky to even get a gauge back from them. And I doubt it would be in a timely manner.

I plan on ordering up a better A/F gauge in the future, I'm thinking of going GReddy when I've got the $300 to spend on a damn gauge. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif

Also never did you tell us that when you got the a/f gauge was the bezel the wrong color. If you email us and let us know we'll have a new one shipped out to you. Could have been autometer doesn't make the silver bezel anymore and they don't tell us. Sometimes manufactures don't clue us the distributors in on new changes. Also on our website it does state:

*All prices subject to change without notice and some images may not apply to actual product*

On the bottom of everypage.

If you want the silver bezel one email me at info@rotormotorsports.com

See. Atlest let him redeem himself. E-Mail him and see if you can get the other one.

The Phantom and Pro-comp gauges are different. For matching gauges you have to order the same series.

ILUVMY88CABRIO 07-03-2002 08:31 PM

Well Slava and I talked on the phone, and everything is worked out. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I'll be sending my gauges back for a matching pair. Thanks Slava.

isamu 07-04-2002 01:40 AM

I hope everything works out good. I'm sure the guages will looks nice when they are all installed.

On a similar note I got my stuff from Mazdatrix today! I was just getting ready to call them when the ups truck pulled up. I am oh so much closer to having a running 2nd gen https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/moon.gif

TonyTurboII 07-04-2002 02:16 AM

Definately get the pro-comp over the phantom. The phantoms are more for looks, and I was dissapointed with their performance.

isamu:

What did you get? I always like hearing what other people get, that way I can enjoy their packages when im not getting any!

isamu 07-04-2002 02:22 AM

I got two new bearings for the rotors and one corner seal, because I busted one taking it out. I think the corner seal was already damaged, due to the fact that it didn't want to come out in the first place. :bigok:

You could have ordered all that **** from Summit, got exactly what you wanted in the first place, and you would have had it in 2 days, probably cheaper too, love my carbon fiber Auto Meters

I take it you have not looked at the section there for the Autometer gauges. Here...

Autometer gauges @ Rotormotorsports

It is kind of hard to tell what you are getting. It doesn't list what series they are, just the face color.
