Hey all, finally got my rebiuld started (well actually my dad and step-dad did) https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif . They said that it was being towed at 30mph in 2nd gear, and that my step-dad had top pump the gas to get it to go, but then it ran on its own. My dad is pretty sure that I have some kind of a fuel delivery problem. I am wondering if maybe I could have mixed the injector plugs, but I would figure it wouldn't run at all correct?

Some other things it could be. It has gas that is a couple of months old, I am going to fill it up the rest of the way with new gas and chevron techron bottle (hell I get it for free). Replace the engine bay fuel pump. I also need to set the TPS. Any other suggestions.

I am also having problems with the stupid water themo sensor. My ECU checker lights are spitting the code, so I changed my sensor. No good I am still getting the error, I think the wiring in my car is f-ed, but I am really hoping that this isn't so, but you never know.

I am super stoked that it started, even though its not running like it should. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

is it an n/a? check and recheck timing and look for vaccum leaks with starting fluid. yes reset the tps. does it idle and have power? keep it running, and do a compression check. nice job man.

if its an s4 it needs the coolant temp sensor to work otherwise it will flood. the s5 should run, just badly without it

mike are these sensors known to go bad? i believe that was my problem from the beginning

The water Thermo sensor on the back of the thermostat can cause my S4 N/A to flood. I ******* hate trying to find electrical gremlins. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png Well atleast I know it will start. Have any suggestions Mike.

Oh and when I wrote engine bay fuel pump, I meant to say fuel filter.
