Okay, so I want around 400+RWHP with quick spooling because of my drift neccesaties and such, so I need suggestions on which turbo to get. I've 4 out which I think I should choose from, so which of these do you guys think I should go with for my FC?

Thanks. For some reason I can't link to RX7 store, it keeps changing it to Google.com... but here are the other two from google.com: Garrett T67 (67mm/84mm) compressor wheel, .70 A/R T04S compressor housing with 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet slip-on connections. Also Known as the "T04R", T4 flanged P Trim, (Specified) A/R Turbine Housing with standard 3" V-Band discharge. Other A/R's available. Turbine -Wheel: 77mm 84 trim -Maps: Not Available Compressor -Wheel: 88mm 54 trim -Maps: Not Available Garrett GT4088 Journal Bearing. Compressor housing is slip on 4" inlet with anti-surge ported shroud and compressor outlet is 2.5" slip-on. ATP Special Exhaust housing with divided 1.06 T04 Flange with standard 3" V-Band machined into it for easy downpipe compatibility and plug and play replacement for older large frame T-series turbos. Largest trim available in GT40 family capable of making a healthy 700+ HP setup. Turbine -Wheel: 77mm 84 trim -Maps: Not Available Compressor -Wheel: 88mm 54 trim -Maps: Not Available |

I had an old school t04e with an internal wastegate (actually still have it, needs a small rebuild) and that thing spooled fast as hell and gave me pretty good power, no exact numbers tho.
honestly it was pretty fast tho and on a drag launch i could spin first second and third witha chirp in 4th. kevin. |
I keep hearing good things about the T04E... I'm just a newb when it comes to turbo and can't figure out what trim and A/R would be best for me.
|
what are your a/r and trim choices and what type of motor porting will you have?

T04E "57 trim" compressor wheel with a T04E 0.6a/r comp. housing and "p-trim" exhaust wheel with either a 0.81 tang./undivided or 0.84 tang./divided housing depending on the manifold you are using. Another good street turbo choice is the above but using a T04B "60-1" compressor wheel with a T04B 0.6 a/r comp. housing. Turbonetics call this a "60-1 Hi-fi". |
Mate go the Garrett T04Z ball bearing, it will spool up faster than a GT35R and will give you well over 400rwkw
