So, my S5 engine has street port done to it along with the rotating assembly balanced (it's NA). Along with a few other things. The timing is stabbed and I've tried the idle mixture screw. I don't have any kind of fuel controller, I didn't think it would be necessary 3k and below... (break-in period) IS there any way to fix this problem with out a fuel controller?? Thanks B EDIT: AFR's are all over the place as the car is warming up. I put the sensor just before the cat, could this be why?? |
your cat is clogged, thats why its glowing red AND why you have no power.
replace or remove the cat kevin. |

when I omit the converter I will have a dual exhaust set-up again. where should I put my o2 sensor? front rotor or rear rotor? and why? instructions call for so many inches per environment it will be used in, just not sure what exhaust tube to use. |
doesnt really matter too much, put it where ever it fits best.

not sure why your cat would clog so quickly, maybe it got too hot when you were welding it?

well I unbolted it.. it's perfectly fine https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.gif on another note the rear rotor is burning oil. not good because I plumbed 2-stroke oil to the OMP and blocked off the the old passage.

Were you feeding it air from the airpump via the split-air pipe? If not, rotaries tent to gobble cats up REAL quick-like. Make sure you are feeding it fresh air!.... that cat is definately dead though.

no I'm not. I thought the fresh air was to make it get hotter? the converter is fine, none of the honeycomb has collapsed. gotta love dynomax converters https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/bigthumb.gif
