ive seen a glass sunroof somewhere but i dont remember where, does anyone know where i can get one?

i know that 2002 impalas had them bc my dad has one.
jk i dont remember ever seeing one on a 2nd gen. 1st and 3rd yes |
There are some for the 2nd gen, but there pretty rare and arent cheap. The other forum had 2 for sale, but they didnt last long. One went for $500, the other for $300 and sold within a day.

bleh they're ugly form the inside, you have to see the rails and **** cause there's no carpet panel blocking it anymore.

During production they had a factory option for the moonroof as opposed to the sunroof. There were two manufacturers of the glass moonroof, one was Pacific glass, which as I understand is out of business. The other relocated to North Carolina, and doesn't want any inquiries as to making new moonroofs. Pacific glass seemed to produce the most moonroofs. A few people on the other forum got a company in florida to make I believe a fiberglass moonroof. So your best bet is trying to find one in a for sale section or if you are very lucky a junk yard, but the later is a long shot.

If your car hasn't got a sunroof already, there's probably places that retro fit them. If it was me, I'd be thinking the roof is the worst place to add unnecessary weight, but it's your car.
