so im gonna get my s5 n/a rebuilt but the guy thats doing it keeps telling me to street port it. He ported his s4 n/a motor and it runs really nice but low end power isnt that great! is it due to the fact that he street ported a 6 port? should i do it? i need some advice from someone familiar to a situation like mine.

Generally, the bigger you port, the less low end you will have. Its a good idea to port if you can afford to do it. But on a street N/A enginem I would say to keep the porting mild. Most builders will have a variety of sizes of ports within the SP category. Just ask for the smallest SP you can get. That'll get you the best of both worlds.

Also take into consideration of an ECU, or a piggyback air/fuel manager.

Sunshine-good point on the bigger the port the less low end power. Bridgeports you get no power below 3k-3.5k rpms. p-port, kiss your low end power good bye. might as well shift at 6-7krpm.
