I was on my way home frome work and stopped for some gas when i met the biggest stroke in the world. He had a 240 zx or some crap and decided to inform me that he had a (get this) a 1987 GTU turbo!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif correct me if im wrong but didnt the turbo start being introduced in `88or `89 and the didnt the gtu have a turbo only in 1989 and wasnt it the gtus?

A turbo was only in the TurboII models unless its been swapped. TurboIIs were available from 87+

its funny when you try to make fun of someone when youre the one who doesnt know what theyre talking about.
the car could have been a turboed gtu, or maybe just a tii. also, no american models came with turbo except for the tii |

AHHH they just said, you could get a turbo in 87. Gtus didnt come from the factory turbo'd but he could of swapped it from a T2 to a GTU. So like shane said, dont try and make fun of someone if you make urself look like an ass.

He might hava a t2 but doesn't know what it is exactly called. Lots of people don't know what special model of car they have. At least he has some brains to own a seven.
