Ok. I have my fuel pump wired to a switch so that I can start my engine because when I got the car the guy said the relay was fried.. So I was just wondering... where the hell it was. If you guys could help me that would be really great. Also it's a 1990 RX-7.. so it's an S5. Thanks.

i think you are talking about the one in the main fuse block under the hood. its labeled "EGI"
No. It's an actual relay. Not a fuse. It's kind of hard to describe what it looks like. Except like a cube with a yellow connector.
oh thats under the dash, by the steering column
Under the dash? A Fuel Pump Relay? That's a really weird place. But I'll check. Thanks.
Yeah its atached to the steering column by a metal braket, need one I have an extra?

the fuel pump relay in question is not under the dash its behind the right head light, looks like a headlight resistor. its under the steel cover right next to the radiator bolted to the coar suport right behind the right headlamp. i know its an odd spot but that is where it is. its the F-60 conector, a white 6 wire plug goes to it.
now i hope this helps and ends the confusion. |
