ok so im having a problem with my coolant. i keep on adding coolant and then i drive for about a week or two and then i have to add more coolant. now to night i put the coolant in and about 2 mins later i had to add more. so i added the coolant and let the car run a let the coolant boil over. then i am driving for about 5 min and the light comes on telling me that i need more coolant. ok so what im asking is what the **** is fucked up on my car ?

pressurize the system and that will tell you what's wrong. "if the system doesn't hold pressure indefinatly and you have no exterior leaks, a coolant o-ring could be suspect."

If its burning that much coolant it would be smoking pretty damn bad right now. I would look over everything for leaks really well and if your un able to find any pressurize the system.

check or replace the radiator cap, and thermostat. pressure testing the engine wouldnt be a bad idea either

If it's booling over into the over flow tank, it's most likely a melted seal, it over pressurizes the cooling chambers with combustion gasses. (Sorry for the spelling, not enough coffee this morning)

Check to see of the over flow tank lid is allways off and you had it on tight, this is a sure sign..

well remove the radiator cap and run the car..

let it warm up and make sure the water is always toped off..

do you notice any air bubbles comming from the radiator cap opening let the car fully warm up also..

if you see the coolant bubbling up at the filler neck youre in need of a rebuild

I would tell you to go do a search on Block Sealing the car U might get a little more life out of it..Oh also catch it while it's small..

I remember on my 89 turbo II i was filling it every day untill i finally blew it haha =)
