What can I soak my injectors in to help out a little bit? I know I can send them off and get something done to them, but I'm really not trying to spend any more money than I have to fixing this thing. They worked fine before as far as I could tell, but I was wondering if there was anything I might as well do since they're out.

dont soak them in anything, they are plastic and any solvent or mineral spirits will break down the plastic. Best thing to do is the send them out to be cleaned professionally.

if they worked fine, should I bother? I mean, is it really worth it for something that's not broken?

and I didn't want to have it apart much longer...would have had it together this weekend, but a friend had a baby

ok, just ordered some pineapple sleeve inserts, so I know I'll have it apart at least a couple more days

how long to get injectors cleaned, and by who?

RC Engineering is who i used they did a great job i sent them off on a monday and got them back on a thursdays by 9 am. It will set you back about $150 with the overnight shipping, buts it's worth it if you want it done right.

the ghetto method is to apply power and ground to open the injector and spray carb cleaner through it. you prolly dont need it though those injectors last forever

You could check around for a local shop that does it. I have seen advertisements around here in the paper but never inquired about it.

Could you put them back into your car and put some fuel injector/system cleaner in your gas tank?
