i'm just building an engine for my TII and am going to put a fmic on there, I know you guys have a lot of knoledge about this from personal experience, If you could suggest some good Ic's and where I could pick them up that would be great

the GReddy FMIC is probably the cheapest kit out there and probably one of the most popular.

Look at some pics the Rotaryman88 has posted about the Greddy. It's pretty nice. I still don't think it's worth that much. If your looking for performance, get an air-water setup. You can build one of those for less than buying a front mount.

The down side is that you loose the nice shiny radiator https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Here is a pic of the Greddy, Starion, and stock intercoolers. The Greddy kit is kind of a PITA to install, lots of cutting, and requires you to remove the stock bumper support. So if you rearend someone your IC is going to be f#&ked. It's not worth the $$, but it's easier than trying to fab up custom pipes, and like someone said, it is the cheapest kit that I know of for the FC.

you ever use a water to air ic? They are not made for every day use, they are really only good for drag. Once the water gets warm (only takes a few hours) then your ic is almost useless. air to air with a water spray would be the optimal setup for street.
