in reality, it's a 54mm nut, think about it, it's a rx-7, it's all metric https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png |

I found that air tools take it off easy..
unfortunately I don't have air tools so i've just gone around and asked tire/muffler places to impact it for me and so far they have.. they also enjoy looking at the motor trying to figure out what kinda lawnmower it came out of https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png |

the torque is measured in lbs-ft, meaning # of lbs @ 1 foot from the pivot on a bar... you can just hang your 290lbs off the bar further than 1 foot away to get more than 290 lbs-ft. 1.5 feet will result in roughly 290 * 1.5 lbs-ft if you hang your ass off it, dig? this is only important when tightening, do whatever it takes to get it off. |
Well me being who I am and working where i work I have access to all the air tools I need https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
Where I work we have a mechanic that services the trucks at my job so on sat/sun I have access to a lift and an arsenel of tools. I am though having trouble getting off the flywheel. this flywheel is going onto an auto motor i heard something about counter weights or something like that. Can any one "shine some Light" on the subject? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif |
