i have a single N1 muffler with custom piping. It really doesnt shoot too many flames cause i still have a high flow cat in there. but if you get headers and straight pipe, even a good premuffler just to quiet it down a bit, you should be getting dirty flames.

Weld some spark plugs in at tips then send some current through them, ie spare battery, u'll get big flames. Of course u need no cats, and no mufflers.

run that exhaust with no cats and have your air pump hooked up and it will shoot NICE flames....without the air pump it will flame but not as good... a friend of mine did that with his TII with the air pump hooked up, he had racing beat exhaust though, it flamed awesome...then he took out the air pump and it still had fire in the pipe when he shifted, but not as much...

yea i noticed less backfire when i took out the air pump...just put 2 and 2 together though..lol

How was the air pump hooked up if he had RB exhaust??

my friend took it to a fabrication shop to have it installed andthe guy didn't know whether he needed it or not so he fabricated the exhaust a little and put it on....go figure...... theguy is an idiot...if you are ever in san antonio do not go to thunder fabrications....

i would say get the RB headers, get a "test pipe" from the header to the beginning of the N1 catback. If not, get the universal N1 muffler and get custom piping from the header back. its REALLY loud (i have that set up), might wanna get a small premuffler in the middle, if you go with complete custom job. I love the way my car sounds, but it sucks when im trying to creep from my girls house at 4am and the fucker jumps to 3k when i first start it and wakes up the whole damn hood.

If you're looking for the biggest hp gain I'd go with the Mazdatrix dual exhaust setup. Its nice and loud, and you'll get a big boost in hp. That comes with HKS mufflers. I think the price is like $1400. The N1s are much smaller than the HKS. Smaller mufflers = more noise. :thumbsup:

I've heard of people getting tickets for smoke from their tailpipe!
