i was going over my engine and i noticed that one of my 5/6 port actuators has seized.. im not sure which one, but its on the right if im standing on the passenger side looking toward driver side. but anyway my question... is there a way to fix the actuator once it has seized, like open it up, clean it out and whatnot, or do i have to find a new one? has anyone ever rebuilt one of these?

Just open it up and clean it up.

hmm yeah sounds like a plan, might as well take the ACV, and air pump and all that garbage out while im at it, i was fiddling around with my actuators and the wires going into it were so corroded they disintigrated, haha so i need to fix that before emissions in 5 months :[

It's easy. I've done it a bunch of times on different motors. Work the diaphrams with lube to get them moving properly. Spray the shaft and don't be afraid of a little force. Use a screwdriver to turn actuator arms in the LIM if that's whats stuck while spraying with oil. If it's the sleeves, just pull them out and clean, reinstall..
