I've decided to re-ground the ecu earth to fix my

3800rpm hesitation. I was just wondering if I should

do anything else while I have the manifold off, like

the TB mod? Will this help address the hesitation?



Will anything else besides the ecu re-grounding?

while I had mine off, I replaced the pulsation damper, replaced injector o-rings, cleaned out carbon deposits and EGR, did the tb mod and blocked off coolant to BAC, replaced vacuum hoses and fuel hoses, cleaned up that ECU ground, and I removed the LIM and installed pineapple aux. port sleeves. I hadn't really planned on doing all that, but I'm glad I did. The only time-consuming parts were waiting for sleeves in mail (like 2 days), taking tb to welder to fill the holes, and cleaning all the damn carbon deposits (which wasn't really time consuming, but it felt like it!). I had never done something this involved before, and it was rather easy with the help if this forum, the Haynes manual, and that tb mod writeup. The tb mod write up was for a TII, and evidently it's easier for the n/a (less steps).



oh, and I still have the hesitation. It doesn't really bother me.

mine isn't very drastic, barely noticeable. and it only occurs every now and then.

I've been wondering that too... sites been down for weeks. I did everything Baldy did plus remove rats nest and some other shite. I finally feel no hesitation. I just cleaned the ground point good and ran a fat new ground up to the firewall.
