Do I keep the thing that comes off the oil filler neck? The round plastic thing, about the size of a silver dollar, and separates into 2 pieces.

What do I do about all the plugs for the solenoids, just let them dangle from the harness?

Also, I broke my O2 sensor wire for like the bajillionth time. What's the best wire to use for this? I'm guessing it's subjected to high heat, and other crap that happens under the car.

And in the following pic, is the dashpot in the foreground, on the right? Whatever that is, is it supposed to have some springy-ness in it's little plunger? Mine seems to do nothing, besides to serve as a bump-stop for the throttle parts. (credit goes to revvin for the pic)

I also took out the cruise control, because it never has worked, and the cable had a lot of slack in it, which I saw as a hazard. I have yet to run the car (I didn't finish last night). Should I expect to see any effects, like ECU freaking out, from removing any of this?

Also, what size fuel hose should be used? I bought 10' of 3/8", then discovered that the hose on the car is 5/16'. I think (give me a break, it was a whole 12 hours ago).

And what size plug do I need to get to block off my coolant? I had it capped, but now I'm going to tap and plug it, and I just don't want to have to go back to the store several times for something so small. I hate that.

Ditch those 2 silver dollars as you call them; just run a mini filter on them or leave them open.

Leave those plugs dangling.

Use any wire for the o2 sensor, just make sure no part of it is bare/open to the atmosphere.

Ditch that dashpot, its for the secondaries which you deleted.

5/16" is the stock replacement size for the fuel lines.

I can't remember the plug size, I just played with my tap/die set till I got something to thread nicely then I just orderd the caps from summit.

Side effects are its not going to like the cold. Going to idle real low and want to kill out.

I ran some 3/8 line from the back of the waterpump to the coolant nipple on the engine. Works fine for me.

Which component removed makes that happen? Because my car already does that.

The thermowax. I removed the choke plates and the dashpots but left the thermowax on for my TB mod.

Mine is already gone, so I'm guessing I *shouldn't* notice any changes in operation after completion.

On a side note: just got my springs! woohoo! shocks coming thursday

Finished last night at 2:30 am. I didn't want to stay running this morning, I suspect I left a cap off somewhere, but I didn't have time to investigate. 3 hoses is nice! (if you don't count all the OMP hoses I replaced)

Mine doesnt like to idle in the cold so I have to give it some extra throttle for about the first 5 mins.

I have noticed some oil coming out of the mini filter I put on the filler neck so I think I'm going to put a catch can there or a hose and raise up the filter a bit.
