Well i just wanted to know any other things i should consider changing while im doing the transmission swap

I went to the Mazdatrix website and wanted to get the specialty tool that holds the flywheel why you try to take off the flywheel nut. And then i started looking at Y Blocks, Bellhousing Bolts, and Front and Rear Transmission seals. I would rather be overprepared than underprepared when i start doing the swap. I dont want to have to wait for parts becuase i didnt take into consideration the other stuff.

So far i have:

Clutch (pressure plate, disc)

Throw Out bearing

Pilot Bearing

Pilot Seal

Clutch Alignment Tool

Gear Oil

SS Clutch Line

New Slave Cylinder

New Master Cylinder

Want:

Tool for flywheel

New Bell Housing Bolts

Y Blocks

Front and Rear Transmission Seals

What else?

You tell me, please.

Jason

Refresh my memory, you are planning on welding in a set of mount ears factory style?

YOU need to do ALOT more research. the automatic tranny mounts are located on the car further back than the manual cars were.

yeah i was reading about that . Rotary Ressurection has a write up of making your own bracket made out of a C channel with two wholes so you can connect the new to old position. And talk about the welding to make sure it doesnt move around during shifting..

Anything else i should get like the bell bolts, front and rear seals?
