I was just wondering if they sold an fcd for a non turbo? I don't think I have ever seen one. Thanks
|
umm, i don't think that is possible, since the fcd is to prevent fuel cut from overboost, being as how an N/A has no boost, it wouldn't have this problem
|
i believe hes talking about fuel cut at i think its 8.5k rmps ...

some n/a's don't have a rev limiter. i know you can remove it manually. if you do that you can put a MSD 6AL and use that for a rev limiter https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
|
another option is get your ecu reprogrammed https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Yea, I was just talking about bypassing the rev limiter. I haven't even revved mine much over 6500, so I don't know if it will cut out yet. I would like to achieve 9 grand at the most, as long as the engine is still providing lots of power up there.

it's pointless to make your engine rev higher up if you're not getting enough air. Focus on getting air down below. Definitely get some sort of ignition amplifier, and try to use that for a rev limiter. It's really not recommedend to go beyond 8k for long periods of time, if you don't have your stuff balanced.

isamu's car is street ported and has a full dual exhaust. it should have some nice power to 9000 rpm https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
