elated to notice that the t2 has...in comparison with the fds...

coin holder..ash tray served as coin holder with the fd

somewhat of an attempt as a beverage stand..glovebox lid...no attempts on the fd

best of all...as i travel the njtp a great deal....gas lid on the passenger side !

as most have it on the driver side...shorter line at the pump stations for the daily commuter...

you forgot the cheaper than the FD benefit
Yea, that's a good one. But the FD looks bad.. :yum: https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

cymfc3s 02-14-2003 03:59 PM

the FC is has a better interior. The FD interior is made from recycled plastic that turns to garbage in a few years.

Blink 02-14-2003 03:59 PM

I guess it's solved.. be like amp.. and own both https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

UniqueTII 02-14-2003 04:07 PM

The FC wasn't in any cheesy rice movies. :bigok:

Sounds good to me..

The FC wasn't in any cheesy rice movies.
Very true..

turborotor 02-14-2003 04:30 PM

I can get out of an FC normally, while in an FD I have to roll myself out on to the road to get out! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png

j9fd3s 02-14-2003 04:58 PM

its already single turbo.....

mike

pengaru 02-14-2003 04:59 PM

it's got the 80's stylin going for it. :bigok:

Rotaryman88 02-14-2003 05:29 PM

T2 is faster with money saved from NOT buying an FD.

2nd gens aren't as expensive to convert to 20B.

People don't expect 2nd gens to be fast...thus surprises during a race are more often.(i love surprising people)

2nd gens came in convertible.

2nd gens had more packages and model choices.

The best thing to the 2nd gen, is that I own one :bigok:

Rob x-7 02-14-2003 05:35 PM

parts are more easily availiabe

You can buy a beater FC as a second car and use it as a

reliable daily driver

lol

Rxmfn7 02-15-2003 06:41 PM

FCs came in N/A, which may not be nearly as fast when modded as a T2, but are fun to beat the piss out of, and not worry about it blowing https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

vosko 02-15-2003 06:45 PM

i like FC's cause of the cost factor but FD has classic styling...... and more performance with just boltons. FD's are easier not to blowup. use stock turbos and reprogrammed ecu they rarely blowup :smirk:

pengaru 02-15-2003 06:51 PM

FC's are easier to work on provided they're not all corroded to ****.

1Revvin7 02-15-2003 07:58 PM

i rarely contest anything vosk says.... but FD = classic styling?

anyways, FC's have a nice sleeper look to them (ricers dun know wut a FC is capable of) where as a FD LOOKS DAMN FAST; and it is.

foopy 02-16-2003 04:58 AM

unless you mean like... NOW they have a classic styling (10 years old = kinda classic.) but when they came out, there were fresh and new and batmobile super car looking.

ROTARYROCKET7 02-16-2003 09:38 AM

Yah what foops said. FD just look ******* fast. I wouldnt **** with one. Fc look like a reg car compared to the FD. But other rice burners wont know what hit em. Hit em up ROTARY style!!!!!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/violin.gif

vosko 02-16-2003 10:34 AM

when i meant classic i meant it looks hands down better than a FC. i've owned both the FC is a more comfortable car but the FD is more like a race car https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

compare an fc, and fd to some classics like an e tyoe jag, or a early 60's ferrari gto

racerxtreme7 02-16-2003 03:20 PM

we'll i only have an fc and its my first but i was planning on fd,,the money thing really came into play,,one has to consider budget,,i know gas with my fc is a killer and i dont even wanna think about what its like with a twin turbo td,,if something stupid goes i gotta replace it with a part that cost mad dough (i can normaly just use this as a good reason to go performance) so thats good and bad,,fc is a sleeper fd's r anything but,,fd's do look realllyyy :yum: nice but so do fc's plus u got surprise on your side,,parts r cheap and it is cheaper to upgrade and mod ,,it all comes down to what your budget is,,,for me a college student with a part time job fc is the way to be but if i was outa school with a full time job fd all the way both have +'s and -'s" my 2 cents https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/moon.gif

Apex13B 02-16-2003 03:30 PM

the FC and FD's look great..its just a matter of taste..

being a tall bastid...i dont fit in fd's https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

Mr. Ashe 02-16-2003 03:35 PM

FCs are my preference.

They got the oldschool look. Like the Supra, Starion, MR2.
