God damn early 90's molester camaro with some 16 yr old girl in it rear ended my mint 90 GTUs. ****** cracked my exhaust all the way to the engine. ****** molested the bumper........my racing stripe on the bumper is totally fucked.....and all she oculd say is why did you have to make me late for work. Not to mention when her father showed up he got in my face like it was my fault. I told him to back the **** up or i was gonna get assualt when the cops eventually came......I am thinkin new exhaust is needed.......new rear bumper and maybe a whole new paint job if i need a new bumper...............does anyone know if she has to pay for this ****....I mean her insurance company.....the cops showed up and she got a ticket for wreckless driving and she was faulted with the accident.....I live in FL if that matters. Holler back.

Sorry to hear about that man. Yes, in all matters she will pay for it. Regardless of state...there is a minimum safe following distance and in almost every case, the person who rearends somebody ends up being at fault. There are some extreme cases where this doesn't happen, but if you were just sitting there and she hit you, then its her fault...I'd go ahead and file for a new paint job/bumper/exhaust at the expense of her insurance company...maybe you can get a body kit https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

hahahahahah its her fault she should have to pay. i think youre gonna need the apexi n1 dual. what do you think?? and when you get that bumper youre gonna have to get the rest of the body kit!

vosko 07-22-2002 05:46 PM

as long as you have a police report contact HER insurance company not yours and tell them what happened. they will want you to fax down it to them. they will send an adjuster to make an estimate. you don't have to accept any money until you feel they are paying enough to properly have the car repaired. also remind them there are only what 200 90 GTUs models made ??? go get em killer https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Rotaryman88 07-22-2002 05:49 PM

Yea, do as vosko says...make sure they know how rare the car is and how its a rotary which takes a special kind of exhaust that can withstand the heat of the engine, etc....if the insurance guy needs the facts to back up your info, reference him to nopistons.com...we'll give him all the BS, I mean INFO he'll need https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Rotarydragon 07-22-2002 06:13 PM

99% chance she'll be at fault, they almost NEVER find the person that was rearended at fault.

As everyone else says, document, document, document.

Geez... I'd go to the hospital and claim back pain then get a lawyer and sue her insurance company just cause they were such dicks.... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/devil.gif There are a lot of people out there that try to intimidate people when involved in an accident. The belief is, if they intimidate the other driver, that driver will instinctively apologize trying to avoid a conflict and claim responsibility.

turbovr6 07-22-2002 06:24 PM

yeah, go to the damn hospital or doctor, tonight or in the morning, as long as within 24hrs, you def. have a case that the pain is fron the accident. There is no medical way to disprove backpain. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png:)

yup, the story is always the same. Some bimbo driving around with a dildo plugged into the cig lighter, doing her make-up in the mirror, slams into the back of some one, gets out flips the ends of her hair, and says "ha,ha like i didnt even know you were there". Just dig into her insurance companies' pockets, see how deep they are.
