Is it physically possible to remove the exhaust manifold without removing the engine? Thinking about replacing the gasket there, and wanna know how much work its going to take.
thanks -dave |
Yep! it's held on by 4 nuts (14mm I think).

Thanks guys, that helps alot.
The reason I'm asking is because I think that there may be a problem with my manifold, either that or the gasket there is gone. I re-installed the exhaust the other night, and for some reason it barely idles now. Its all straight through, too, thats whats confusing. It idles strong @ 1k without exhaust (manifold back), but once I put it back on it struggles. Oh, and I've either got 2 defective AFMs or its not the problem. Thanks again! -dave |
