Is the Racing Beat exhaust louder or quieter than stock. And if its louder how much more. Also, if your car is loud and its not cause of your muffler but because of headers and perhaps, a bridgeport can you still get in trouble for your muffler? (cops around where i live give tickets for aftermarket exhausts)

It's still loud exhaust though.. no matter how you put it the sound comes out of the rear of the car unless you have holes https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png . To silence a bridgeport you'd be restricting your exhaust which is counter productive https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

The Bridgeport is going to be loud no matter what. Have you heard what it sounds like? It is loud as hell. Even the racing beat can't hide it! But personally you dont want a bridgeport on a car that you are going to be driving around alot. It just wont last. Go with a street port. They aren't much louder and you can still benefit from it. Plus is will last twice as long https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

I suggest all rotary owners move to Virginia. I can't imagine how loud a car would have to be to get a ticket for noise here. I think you could pass a cop with just a straight pipe, and unless you really had your foot in it, you'd be fine. My TII has a 3" downpipe, a Bonez highflow cat, and a 3" Borla race muffler, and it just passed state inspection, no problem! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Taking off the cats is what makes it really loud.... So if you went with just the RB catback you would be fine...

Why won't it work good with a bp? Not big enough?

And, how much louder is the RB exhaust than stock?

Lastly, the reason i want quiet cause cops where i live are decible nazis

and, a bp would still be loud as hell even with a good muffler no?

on a stock car the racing beat are usually a tad louder, but it clips off the highs so it seems quieter than stock. they are too small for a bp, you need a lot of flow for a bp. if you add lots of mufflers on a bp it can be pretty reasonable noise wise
