So today i checked TPS, that is fine. Pulled error codes too.
Got 18 - TPS narrow range - fixed at full open 25 Solenoid, pressure regulator control 30 solenoid split air valve 31 solenoid switch valve 33 solenoid oport air valve 42 ?? 73 Injector (rear secondary) I'm gonna get my secondaries cleaned and stuff so that should take care of whatever the problem is with 73, but what do the rest of those codes mean exactly? |
Why don't you clear the error codes from memory first. Some may be old errors that never got erased when previously fixed. Once erased restart you car, let it warm up then check for error codes again and see what you got.
To clear the stored codes from memory. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 5 seconds. If you do not clear the code from the memory it will remain there even if you fix the problem, so you must disconnect the battery to see if the problem has been fixed prior to checking for error codes again! BTW how did you check your tps to determine that it is good? I hope you don't say that you did it with the lights... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif |
um 18 and 73 are your 5000rpm hesitation
|
you know that some codes on all cars will come up because of one thing.

Anyways imma take everything off and look at it again sometime later this week. I checked my plugs too and they look fine. |
