My 13bt has good compression both rotors and revs slowly.. It seems to have some flooding also. It revs very very slowly and then gets better paced higher up in rpm. Could this be injectors? vacuum? SPark?? just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas, my friends gonna check it out this weekend, just wanted to know for my self wut to look out for. BTW it does idle fine so wondering wuts up and no smoke at all..

it might be spark, i managed to foul the leading plugs on my t2, when i first got it runnning and it would start idle, but it had no power

you might want to change your fuel filter, it could be clogged. just my 2 cents

Could be a number of things. Try giving it a nice tune up and see where that gets you. This will eliminate a number of possibilities.

Hmm, post more info. Is this a T2? Does it stumble or misfire? Is the cat plugged? Did the timing shift? Did u put in diesel instead? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

Kuhrazy7 04-16-2003 08:48 PM

Yea its a turbo II> i dunno wut the hell its doing, not missfiring just sounds like dead rotor but isnt. No cat. Timing shift? where can i control? And no diesel. And for timing shift, is it next to the crank angle sensor? Thx for all the responses everyone..

Hmm, I'm still stumped. Can't tell over the net...you need a pro. Forget timing shift, unless you messed with it. A leaking injector might do it, maybe.

My Talon had your symptoms when it blew the intercooler hose off. Other than that, sorry, just check the FAQ's and always test before replacing. Good luck!

Thank you

The CAS looks way retarded and wasnt tightened down so i guess i have to have the timing done on it. Also it does really seem like it could be leaking injectors. Thank you very much for your help
