i have a 1991 rx7 with 171,000 miles, and i'm planning on rebuilding the engine. i found a full rebuild kit at rotorsportsracing.com and it costs $1289. is that a reasonable price, or is there another place that offers a kit for less? also, about how much power would a race header, high flow cat, and borla mufflers with 2.5" pipe add? i already got my exhaust, but im just wondering about how much power it will add. thanks!

Parts are only as good as the person doing the rebuilding...

Exactly. I say check into quality rebuilders, alot of them will tell you around $1500 + shipping, not to mention some parts might be out of spec that also might need replacing.

Also, PM 1Revvin7 or Kahren, they both do great jobs.
