hey is there anyway to prevent that bomb ass backfire when the egr is blocked off is that something i wont get around when not using my egr?my other question is

Blocking off the EGR shouldn't cause a 6 port motor to backfire. A Lean Mixture will cause backfires upon deceleration. The EGR is used to reduce Emissions NOX by putting exhaust back into the intake on deceleration.
