Anyone have hard info on whether the ECU might cut spark to the rear rotor, and, if so, when?
My project TII suddenly started running on 1 rotor, and I have checked all the obvious stuff, (including power to coils, fuel and compression). Verified spark only to front leading plug with a timing light. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif |
You may have a bad coil. My rear coil started shorting out on me a while back. It turned out to be a bad coil.

smoking alot?? if it smells like gas out the tail pipe then your fuel injectors are probably working fine. ignition is about the only thing that could do that
|
fouled plug?? if it's just running on trailing in the rear then it would be very weak.
swap plugs and plug wires (keep the plug and plug wires together) swap on coil as well to check. |
pull out the plug and (with an insulated glove) touch the side of the plug to the body and have someone crank it to find out for sure.
