I was wondering if there is a better ECU than an N338? I know that all of the FC's at the race track are running the N326, S4's and S5's. I asked one of them and he told me that th 326 was the best stock ECU due to the lack of harsh emissions and restrictions for fuel economy. Can anyone verify this? If so I will put the 326 I have in my garage back in. Thanks for reading, Jack

n326 is a stock 86-87 na ecu
n338 is an 88 vert they are the same smog equipment wise |
Run an auto trans one.
Someone claims the aggressive timing curve on an auto trans ECU makes the manual FC faster. Higher part numbers on mean newer ECU's but not necessarily better. -Ted |
