I was looking at fc parts on ebay and I keep seeing the resistor mod coming up ... The one that is 5 bucks and you add a resistor somewhere Im guessing, changing the air temp the cpu sees. It's cheap so what the hell huh?! Any feed back from People that HAVE it or used it. Thanks

so it leans the motor out some? producing more hp by tricking the ECU by product.. running hotter.?

or it richens the motor some producing less hp but less likely to run hot enough to detonate.

I dont think it leans it out... It trick the ecu into thinking the air is colder than it really is so you get more fuel and ignition.....That is my understanding.

If its the one that modifies the Intake Air Sensor, do not do it. I've only heard bad things. I'll give a more detailed explanation tomorrow if someone hasnt by then, but I'm going to sleep for now.

I wasted 3 bucks on it and it just didnt work

i dunno but i have an aftermarket intake and did all that he said and all it did is turn on and shut off. it did get strted running once but it was horrible revving

i even tried driding i was bouncing everywhere

im pretty sure i did it right and i came home and took that **** right off and threw it in the garbage

If you own a welder you can make the thing pretty fast for cheap, you just gotta fab up all of the stuff. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif
