has anyone put dual oil coolers in thier car?

im thinking of changing front bumpers and going with dual coolers off to the sides.

I have a FMIC, AC, and thicker core Koyo radiator- cooler oil is essential to a rotary motor so dual coolers out in front all on thier own would not only cool the oil better, but I would imagine it would allow a little more airflow to the rest of the components.

I also know the stock oil cooler is pretty efficient so im wondering if any of this is even worth the hassle?

as long as the stock cooler gets good air flow i think its fine.

cool write up, but no before and after comparisons to see if all that work is worth while or not

it has that bad=ass cool factor though x10

It will definetly work, my only "issue" with that setup, is that the oil coolers only fit without the hard plastic bumper.

That car is not on the road yet. Just like the coolers, its getting a ton of other customs things done to it.

It will be running one of the higher end Motec units, so I think some good oil temp numbers will be available once all is sorted out.

PWR now makes a drop in replacement that is really nice.

the stock fc oil cooler is a beast, tons of other cars use the fc cooler as an upgrade unit. i think the biggest thing fc guys skimp on is ducting, all the FD guys spend tons of time on ducting of the FMIC and Rad and it makes HUGE and NOTICEABLE differences i say just get some sheetmetal and rivets and do some real ducting work and youll be fine.
