Nod, that or a molded A-pillar gauge pod.

There is a demand for A pillar gauge pods, almost every t2 there is has one. Only place for Fc owners to put gauges, that is in driving view.

WickedTurboII 10-17-2003 02:05 AM

adamlewis 10-17-2003 05:00 AM

I would pay an arm and a leg for a steering column gauge pod.

Do they make a triple guage pod for the FC or can you get another dual for the passenger side pillar?

Racer X 10-18-2003 05:33 AM

BTW I have 4 52mm guages I want to install in case you're wondering. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

phinsup 10-18-2003 05:58 AM

Not that I know of, only single and double.

Do you have an aftermarket head unit? If so, I'd install two or three below the head unit and the rest on the pillar. It'd be kind of out of the way, but how often are you going to look at them anyway?

True.I will have 5 in total.I still need a air/fuel guage still. My 84 will have just as many guages as a jumbo jet. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

phinsup 10-19-2003 01:09 AM

I am prolly going to add air fuel to mine, I have a boost guage on the single pod.

Don't waste your time or money, gets its signal from teh o2 sensor. Only good for near 14.7, hence being narrow band...

I agree. I was going to put one in the TII, but I decided to just toss it in the n/a after using it for a while. It doesn't really perform much of a function imo. I decided to just put a new oil pressure gauge in its place.

phinsup 10-19-2003 03:11 AM

Yea that wouldn't be bad either, or a real temp guage for that matter.

I tell ya what, if you want my A/f gauge its yours. Its just sittiing on my floor right now. Its an autometer phantom series one.

phinsup 10-19-2003 03:43 AM

Yea I've got the lunar now, I think I'll prolly end up going with oil prx or water temp, but thanks https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

isamu 10-19-2003 03:56 AM

No prob. I have to buy one of the racingbeat adapters for the oil gauges. I like the fc3s one, but its just too expensive compared to the RB one.

Rob x-7 10-20-2003 12:58 PM

there are tons of pods out there that could mount to the steering

coloumn for a single gauge, one I found for $20. Hardly worth the effort

to custom make one where there are ones out there.

You guys want one like the FD mickey mouse ears pods? How many

people would actually buy it? Honestly I would rather make a pod to

go on each side instead of that whole mickey mouse pod thing. Only benefit I see of the pod being one piece going across the top is

that it would be easier to mount.
