I was driving my n/a 86 and the car started to "shake, rattle, and roll" really bad. i made it home, then the next morning when i was driving it out to my friends garage to jack it up and see whats wrong with it my driveshaft fell out. so now i have to get a new u-joint, which means a new driveshaft. do i also need to get a new tranny? it looks a little banged up but nothing is bad with it, still can shift. has this ever happened to anyone else?
any help would be great, thanks. |
umm damn that sucks, i think the just the driveshaft took the hit, you'll find out won't you. i have good condition n/a driveshaft for sale.

if you pick up the aftermarket one from mazdatrix the u-joints are servicable.

You CAN rebuild the stock driveshaft!
