My tranny on my 90 TII is going bad. I have another one coming in to replace it. The tranny probably has enough life left to get me to the on base garage where I can do the swap. My question is if I start the engine will the tranny be put into motion while in nuetral? The reason I'm asking is b/c I don't want my battery to die and I do want to totally kill my tranny before the new one gets here. Thanks.
