i have a 91 n/a rx7 that im getting a new engine for. its a cosmo 13b-re twin turbo engine, but i need a new drivetrain that will handle the power. will a tII drivetrain hold up to my new engine? how much power can a tII drivetrain handle? im hoping to eventually get around 450 - 500hp.
BTW, does anyone know if 17x7 rsx type-s wheels have the same bolt pattern as a 2nd gen rx7? a friend of mine is planning on giving me the wheels and tires off his 05 rsx type-s when he gets new 19s. thanks. |
i run a t2 trans, drive shaft, diff n axels with m big single turbo big port cosmo re motor with out any failure, t2 drive train is tuff stuff

where can i get a good TII drivetrain? i kinda destroyed the TII i had, plus the tranny was bad when i got it.

Agreed T2 drivetrain is tough
get everything though, tranny, LSD, half shafts |
500whp = cryo treated TII drive train.
Even the turbo ones normaly have a hard time with 500. |
