Does anyone know how to install a Cusco drift button on an S4 TII? Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks.

is this like the staples "easy" button? I'd imagine just double sided tape it to the dash or the center of the steering wheel

everyone needs a drift button ....lol it would be like a giant fist that just comes out of no where hits the car side ways and your just like weeeeehhh !!!!! no more corners just press the button

I thought you just pushed it and the back end came out, no? :P

Yeah, they're needed for anyone who does in fact drift. Pretty universal install I'd imagine.

i've read that certain ones for ae86's work on our cars.

and something makes me htink i read they just unscrew or something. maybe ill have to look around and find out.

u take apart the ebrake boot and handle (all the plastic stuff) and remove the spring behind the button. then just reassemble (if u want) the trim and such and press teh "drift button" on!! too easy!!!

i used a 240sx one on mine so i had to shave the stock button down a bit to get it to fit, but yeah, really simple!!!

and to thoes hating, it is VERY usefull, i too have had the ebrake lock on me and **** my **** up, its the ghey!!

Isn't the whole point of RWD that you break the rear end loose using the throttle and NOT the e-brake?

Ricer240sx 07-02-2007 10:11 PM

in some situations.techniques, but its more so for u to control the drift! thats what separates drifting from sliding! there are a few diff tech. that can be applied, im sure ur refering to power over, but power over isnt always an effective method to drift! and sometimes ur in a decreasing radious turn, great way to scrub speed and maintain a genorous angle would be to use the ebrake!! theres more to drifting than stomping the gas and turning the otherway!! but im not gunna go any deeper here on that....
